Course Outcome
This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding to practice safely and competently in a variety of health care settings.On successful completion of this course, graduates will be eligible to apply to Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for registration as Registered Nurse.

Employment Opportunities
This course may provide you with Registered Nurse employment opportunities in a range of health settings such as; acute care, chronic care, aged care, rehabilitation, and mental health.

  • Duration
  • 10 – 12 weeks full time (Comprising of 4 weeks theory and 6 - 8 weeks clinical experience).
  • Criteria
  • All candidates are required to:
    1. Provide a letter from AHPRA confirming eligibility to undertake the Initial Registration Course
    2. Evidence of a current police check
    3. English requirements as set by AHPRA, i.e. IELTS 7.0 in each module. If AHPRA has given exemption for IELTS, a minimum overall score of 6.5 is required.
    4. Appropriate reference checks
    5. Minimum 2 years’ work experience as a Registered Nurse.
