The HLT57715 Diploma of Practice Management is designed for those who wish to work in a Management role in the health industry. You will learn to interact effectively with staff and patients, and demonstrate knowledge of both healthcare services and practice management. You will be required to perform practice office processes and comply with medico-legal requirements.

This course offers a nationally accredited qualification for Health Administrators who can practice at a senior leading role in health administration. They can work as Practice Managers, Program Managers, Business Managers, Service Managers or Nursing Unit Managers, among other job descriptions, in a variety of settings ranging from hospitals to clinics, private practices, and nursing homes.

Course Overview

This course will be delivered and assessed over 12 months , which will be structured over four terms. This will include approximately 20 hours per week of study at home, with the aid of guides and online resources through the IHNA E-learning platform. Students must attend a mandatory two weeks simulation work shop at an IHNA campus each term.
