IHNA Course IHNA Course

The number of aged people in Australia is on the increase, and the Aged Care sector is facing an acute shortage of skilled workers who can meet the increasing needs of the ageing population. It has been estimated by the Productivity Commission that the Aged Care workforce will need to more than quadruple by the year 2050.

Students who wish to get an entry into this sector can take the first step of gaining the nationally recognised CHC30212 Certificate III in Aged Care. This course teaches the skills to operate effectively as a personal care worker or nursing assistant in a residential aged care facility, or as a community care worker for the aged.

IHNA has designed this course to suit the individual needs and provide flexibility to all students. The course modules are structured to provide a balanced program of theory and practice, relevant to the career opportunities across the aged care industry.

"Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are encouraged to apply".
