1) Which courses does the Certificate III in Individual Support supersede?

2) What are the eligibility criteria for the course?
Ans.

There are no pre-requisites or any other training package entry requirements for this course. IHNA has in place admission criteria for courses in its scope as required by its' Application and Enrolment Procedure for VET Courses' to ensure that candidates meet industry requirements.

Applicants are required to be 16 years old and above.

You will need to have completed year 10, or equivalent or be of mature age.

Equivalency can be demonstrated by one of the following: A qualification at Certificate II level or higher,

OR

2 years industry experience in a role that requires the use of written documentation and communication

OR

Age 18 year OR higher

Applicants are required to have successfully completed an IHNA LLN test or VET ASSESS LLN Test (with a valid score of minimum 50% for each area and issued within the last 12 months from the time of admission).

3) What is the fee for this course?
Ans.

The fees structure is as follows

Tuition fee (Full fee)- 1800AUD,

If you pay upfront you get a discount of 300AUD.

Funding and concession are available in Victoria & WA

Victoria funded fee is 250AUD & Victorian Funded concession fee is 50AUD.

WA funded fee is 2182.80AUD & WA Concession fee is 1094.80AUD.

Full fee is only applicable in Sydney.

4) Is there any payment plans?
Ans.Yes we have flexible payment plans available for this course.

5) What is the duration of the course?
Ans.The course duration is 6 months.

6) What is the maximum duration to complete the course?
Ans.You can take up to one year to complete the course, but we strongly recommend students to follow our timetable and complete the course in six months.

7) How is the Mode of Delivery?
Ans.Modes of delivery are Online (Blended) & Face to Face. Support sessions can be arranged for students if required on campus.

8) How about the Labs and placement?
Ans.Students must attend 4 days Lab Stimulation session on campus. These are scheduled every month. Placements are for 120 hours (3 weeks) and are arranged in Aged Care & Disability centers.

9) Will IHNA arrange the placements?
Ans.Yes, IHNA will arrange the placements

10) What time the placement starts?
Ans.

There are two shifts that you can do placement. Morning and Afternoon.

Morning shift starts between 6AM-7:30am and ends at 1pm-2:30pm.

Afternoon shifts starts at 1pm-2:30pm and ends at 8pm-9:30pm.
