CHC30121 - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course equips you with the essential skills to support the care, learning, and development of young children in early learning environments. You'll learn how to nurture children's growth through play-based learning, support their health and safety, and work effectively in a team.
Upon completion, you’ll be qualified to work as:
Early Childhood Educator
Kindergarten Assistant
Childcare Assistant
Out of School Hours Educator
This 12-month program includes a practical placement component to help you gain real-world experience in a childcare setting.

There are no strict academic prerequisites for this course, but applicants must:
Be at least 17 years and 3 months old
Have completed Year 10 (or equivalent)
Be physically and mentally fit to work in a childcare setting
Complete a basic Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) assessment
Mature students (aged 22+) may also be considered if they can show readiness for the course.
